Mango's came on special this week, and I had plenty of lovely mint in the garden so a smoothie was calling. I always keep slices of frozen banana in the freezer as very convenient if you want to put a quick smoothie together. So here is:
INGREDIENTS:
2 Tbls Chia Seeds
1 ½ cups Almond Milk
1 Banana (frozen in slices)
2 cups Mango (frozen in pieces)
Juice of 1 lemon
4-6 Drops Sweetnz lemon stevia drops (or adjust to taste)
Handful Mint leaves approx ⅓ cup
METHOD:
Soak the chia seeds in ½ of almond milk and leave for approx 10 mins.
Meanwhile, put the remaining ingredients into a blender and blend, you may need to scrape down and re-blend.
Add chia seed mixture and blend again until smooth. Scrape down again if needed.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
